Street Angels welcomes new volunteers

If you are over 18 and in good health, Street Angels and Community Solutions can offer you:

• Access to quality practical training in dealing with young people
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Blue Card from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian
• The opportunity to meet and work with a team of dedicated and community-minded volunteers
• The chance to make a meaningful and worthwhile contribution to your community
• Informal customer-service training in public communication
• Insight into the dynamics and needs of your local community
• The chance to make a difference to people’s lives
• Appropriate debriefing following all critical incidents (or at your request)
• Appreciation of support through social outings and gatherings for Street Angels volunteers and their families
• At all times you will be treated with respect and dignity
• Your privacy and all personal information will remain confidential

We hope to ensure the needs of all of our volunteers are met during shift, and as such would appreciate comments you have that would assist us to do things better. Your feedback is critical to inform the volunteer management and support provided by the organisation.

1. Please comment on the current on-street operations including the service we provide, patrols and our interactions with young people, general public and other service providers.
